FITMENT: 1971 1972 Harley-Davidson FX Super Glide: Factory correct. 1971 1984 Shovel head FX/FXE model's: Will mount to the 4-speed Big Twin frame for a custom Boat Tail conversion. Please examine photos for condition and quality. For most seat details won't matter because it will likely come off.

Please see my other listings. This unit features a Black finish, which was the standard base color for 1972 model year. Whats pictured is whats included. Half the seat rivets have verdigris green oxidization and half are good looking, brass with patina.

Original Harley-Davidson FX Super Glide Boat Tail rear fender, seat and light support. Shipping costs are estimates. This is a complete setup including the fiberglass body, light, and period-correct custom seat. I ll gladly combine shipping on multiple orders.

Lighting assembly is present, not tested. Please view photos and inspect as well. The unit shows significant historical wear, including gel coat crazing fine spider-web cracks throughout the surface and areas of chipping that reveal original, blue-tinted factory resin base. Condition: This rare OEM 1971 1972 Boat Tail features a black finish.

Having the internal support, lighting assembly, and original wiring still intact is a massive boost to this piece, as these small components are often hardest parts source for restoration. While many associate the FX Super Glide Boat Tail with all-White red and blue Sparkling America theme, black base has a more aggressive look. More coming soon.
